Above and Below

For me, being on an island feels like going back home. I love being surrounded by water, with the freedom to choose which beach to swim depending on the direction of the wind and swell.

I lived here, on Wayesawa Island for ten days with a local Fijian family. There were no roads, and the people travelled by foot to their farms up the mountain and visited the other villages by boat. Coming here, I felt so at peace, surrounded by nature, with good food and good people. It reminded me that life can (and should) be as simple as this.

Each image is printed on a 100% cotton fibre rag, an archival museum quality material with a vibrant finish.
